I present to you…….Kitty Cat Wall Art.  Three photos of our cats mounted on 5×5 wooden blocks.  I found the blocks on Etsy, stained them at home and spray mounted the photos to the blocks.  Now we have custom kitty related artwork hanging in our kitchen.  Yay us!  What’s next you ask?  Why, kitty cat onesies for the baby of course.

]]> http://217photography.com/2011/03/gettin-crafty-with-it/feed/ 1 I heart instax mini! http://217photography.com/2011/03/i-heart-instax-mini/ http://217photography.com/2011/03/i-heart-instax-mini/#comments Tue, 08 Mar 2011 20:50:44 +0000 Pete Malone http://217photography.com/?p=4698 It’s time for a personal blog post.  Today’s installation brings you a bunch of my instax mini prints!  My family and friends know that I can’t leave the house without at least 3-5 cameras on me at all times.  Often times I have a lomo in my right pocket, a Holga in my left pocket, Diana in Dawn’s purse, an iphone in my pant packet and the Fuji Instax mini in my hand.  Who knows what kind of camera may be called for at any particular moment?  Best to be prepared so say the Boy Scouts……at least I think it goes something like that.   The Instax Mini is like a modern day Polaroid camera.  It looks like kinda like a robot and it prints credit card sized instant photos which develop right in your hand.  The following strip of photos are scans of some of my favorite instant pics from the past year.  Enjoy!

We had a fun couple of days together shoveling and then shoveling and then shoveling some more. We also managed to take a few cold walks in the snowy world outside. These are just a few of the shots that I took along the way.


This was the scene from our bedroom (taken with the hipstamatic app on my iphone). I’m not sure why the date says Feb of 80. But it works!
