October 1 of 2011 fell on a gorgeous autumn day here in Philadelphia. Beth & Nick were celebrating their wedding day with a ceremony at St. John the Evangelist in Center City followed by a reception in Old City at TRUST. I was happy to have Vida Carson join me again for the day and while she started at Le Meridian with Nick and the guys I met up with Beth and the ladies as they prepared for the day at The Ritz Carlton. After the ceremony we headed to old city for wedding party photos before making our way back to TRUST for the cocktail hour next door in the courtyard of Betsy Ross’ house.
Beth & Nick’s reception was one for the record books. Jellyroll had this crowd hopping from the very first note and the party just got crazier and crazier with props from the photo booth making their way onto the dance floor as Beth, Nick and all of their family and friends brought the house down.
Beth & Nick, I really can’t thank you both enough for allowing me to share in your wedding day. Beth you were such a gorgeous bride and Nick, the white dinner jacket was one of my favorite accessories all year! Congratulations you guys. Enjoy your photos.

Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding | Janine & Andrew

Janine & Andrew had a classic Philadelphia wedding this fall. Their wedding day fell on one of those perfect warm autumn days which made for a beautiful backdrop in Old City. Vida and I started off at the Sheraton Society Hill where Janine and Andrew were getting ready for their big day. After everyone was dressed and ready we headed out into the streets of Old City for Janine & Andrew’s first meet followed by some wedding party photos before heading to Old St. Joseph’s Church and the wedding ceremony. Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties was the site of the wedding reception where the Don Eaton Band kept up a raucous party.

Janne & Andrew along with their wedding planner Kelsey Gilland of A Little Soireé put together an amazing day which was a joy to be a part of and very fun to photograph. Some of the other wedding professionals who helped make Janine & Andrew’s day unforgettable were Jill Perocca who made all the ladies’ heads look top notch with her hair styling, Kristen Stengel who took care of the makeup and Il Fiore Bianco who did an incredible job with all of the floral arrangements.

Congratulations once again to you Janine & Andrew. It was such an honor to share in your wedding day with you and your families. Your day couldn’t have turned out any better. All the best to you both for a wonderful marriage and a happy life together.

New Jersey Wedding Photos | Kristen & Tim

Kristen and Tim were married at the end of September. Their ceremony was held in the beautiful Peapack Reform Church in Gladstone, New Jersey. After the ceremony and some bridal photos at a local park we all headed to the Hamilton Park Hotel where the Urban Guerrilla Orchestra kept up a rocking party for the reception.

Kristen & Tim are just so laid back and fun to be around. And the fact that they were simply happy to be with each other and happy to be getting married made my job of capturing their enthusiasm and joy that much easier. Congratulations Kristen & Tim. Enjoy your photos!

The Carriage House at Rockwood | Katie & Jeff

Katie & Jeff held their wedding at The Carriage House at Rockwood in Wilmington Delaware. This was the first time I had ever been to this venue and I was thrilled to experience such a fantastic event at a very unique place. Katie & Jeff really put a lot of their own style into choosing this venue as well as decorating the space with a lot of DIY details. Misty Dawn joined me for the day and we both had such a great day working with Katie, Jeff and their families.

Katie & Jeff, it really was a pleasure to share in your wedding day. Everything was so well thought out and unique to you two as as couple. Thank you for having us! Enjoy your photos.

Stephanie & Jason | Wedding Photos at the Bridgetown Millhouse

Stephanie & Jason were married at the Bridgetown Mill House in Bucks County just the other week. We skirted what was forecast as a rainy day and lucked out with a beautiful afternoon for their wedding. Stephanie prepared a lot of DIY details that you will see in this post. It came as no surprise to see such creativity from Stephanie as she came up with a unique and fun idea for her and Jason’s engagement photos back in June. Thank you Stephanie & Jason for having Valentin and I along for your wedding day. It was our pleasure to share in your celebration. Best of luck to you both!

Angela & Sean’s wedding day was filled with so much love from family and friends from beginning to end….it was truly my pleasure to be a apart of their celebration. From the very first moment Michael Leslie and I arrived, the Marinis made us fell as though we were a special extension of their family for the day. Also along for the day was my good friend and one of Philly’s top wedding planners, Erin of Proud to Plan. Angela & Sean’s ceremony was right down the street from Angela’s family home at Holy Rosary Church in Claymont Delaware. After the wedding ceremony we all headed into Philadelphia for the reception at The Atrium at The Curtis Center where Bigg Romeo took over the entertainment duties and kept everyone dancing well into the night. It was also a pleasure to be shooting alongside the crew from Video One. I’m sure they put together something special for Angela & Sean.Congratulations again Angela & Sean. One of my favorite shots that Michael captured that afternoon.The event space in The Atrium at the Curtis Center run by the folks at Cescaphe is truly spectacular. It’s definitely one of the most impressive reception venues in Philadelphia.

Jill & Adam were married in July at the beautiful Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. After the wedding ceremony in Philadelphia the party moved onto Normandy Farms for photos and the wedding reception. It was perfect weather for a summer wedding that day. And Jill & Adam celebrated their wedding in style with all of their closest friends and family. I was happy to work alongside of the crew from Schaffer Sound that evening as well as our video crew from First Floor Films.

I’m very excited to finally share the news that Casey & Will’s Colonial Dames wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty’s “Little Black Book” blog today!
Thank you to Casey & Will again for having me share in their wonderful celebration and a huge thank you to Erin Proud of Proud to plan for putting the whole affair together. Erin brought some of the best wedding pros in Philadelphia together for Casey & Will’s wedding day from Emliy at Cheekadee Makeup to Michelle from Daneene Makeup doing the girls’ hair, Honeybunches Floral, Day by Day Catering (who provided mouthwatering fried chicken as one of the main courses) Anna Violet Confections who put together an incredible cake and Synergetic Sounds handling the music and dancing.
