Megha & Tarak’s Philadelphia Engagement Photos | The University of Pennsylvania

Megha, Tarak and I had been trying for over 6 months to meet for their engagement shoot in Philadelphia. The first couple of times that we were scheduled to meet, the weather didn’t cooperate with us. The next couple of times, Tarak was in and out of town so quickly we couldn’t make the shoot work either. But…..finally……in May it happened. And I am so glad that we waited, because the weather for Megha & Tarak’s engagement shoot was absolutely perfect! We started on the Campus of the University of Pennsylvania, where Megha & Tarak first met while in college. After an outfit change and a short car ride, we met-up again at the top of the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. All in all it was a fantastic day, a great shoot and just a lot of fun. Thanks to you both, Megha & Tarak for being so flexible. Enjoy your photos. And best of luck for your wedding at Lake Tahoe.

This was obviously an “outtake”. Megha wasn’t ready for me to shoot this photo. I still liked it.

Jimmy & Alicia’s Wedding | Lomo Style

The other week, Dawn and I attended our good friends’ Jimmy & Alicia’s wedding at Lucien’s Manor in Berlin, NJ. Well the reception was at Lucien’s Manor at least. This was my first weekend off for weeks and I was psyched for the hor dourves!! I never eat while I’m shooting and the hor douvres always look sooooo good at all of the weddings, so yes….that’s what I was looking forward to.

Of course I couldn’t put my camera down during a wedding celebration right? I did leave the big guns at home and instead, I brought along my point and shoot style little bitty of a camera, the Lomo LCA +. This combined with some funky red-scale film and a multi-colored flash resulted in these photos below. It was a pleasure to actually be a guest at a wedding. Much love and congratulations to the newlyweds, Jimmy & Alicia.

Our 1st Anniversary

This Sunday will be Dawn & my 1st wedding anniversary! I just wanted to share a few short videos that I put together over the last year. Some of you may have seen these clips already. The first one is the “Coming Soon” trailer for our wedding video that……I will……eventualy……get around to editing. :0 Dawn has been very patient with me on the video editing front, and as of now these short clips are all that I have gotten finished. I promise it’s “coming soon” as the trailer says, as long as you keep in mind that “soon” is relative.
