Courtney is an actress in Hollywood, CA and she is home visiting family and friends for a few weeks. While she is back in the Philadelphia area, she figured it would be a good time to have some head shots done. So last night, Courtney and I headed out to Tyler State Park in search of a unique and different kind of head shot. One that the other actresses in LA won’t have in their arsenal. We found our spot in a corn field. I’m not quite sure if we were really allowed to go into the corn field. But all the best shots were inside, so we had to break some rules, just a bit. Thanks for braving the mosquitoes and itchy corn stalks with me last night Cortney. I hope you enjoy these shots.

This one probably won’t make Courtney’s portfolio, but I just like the moment captured here. I think Courtney was in mid-laugh. It’s sort of a moment between shots that would generally be forgotten or thrown out. But it struck me as very genuine and pretty.

Yesterday after Jenn Childress hosted an open house to introduce her new studio, I stuck around for a few minutes after the meeting to shoot a few shots of Jenn and her daughter, Mya.

5 year old Mya took this one of Jenn and I right before it started to really rain.
