The wedding of the decade. This was what Melissa, Ed and I dubbed their recent wedding about a week before the event actually took place. Melissa was a bit nervous after I gave their wedding such a lofty goal to be reached. But, let me be the first to say that it delivered as promised….or at least as proclaimed. Before the day was over we would all have seen a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Talamore Country Club, a pre and post ceremony rolling party on the limo (complete with a “dancing” pole), Ed serenading his new wife…..Ed serenading the entire reception and a packed dancefloor rocking to 39 Mariner all evening long.
The day started off with preparations for the wedding party at the Dolce – Valley Forge Hotel. I was there along with the talented Delaware photographer, Misty Dawn. Our First Floor Films crew was capturing the day on video and we were all kept on task by wedding planner, Christina Hill of Chill weddings. Melissa & Ed, it was our pleasure to be a part of your wedding day. Thank you and congratulations. The wedding of the decade was a resounding success!
This photo sorta sets the tone of the day. The bouquet was created by Marcus Hook Florist.

Nina from Cheekadee was on hand to pretty up all the ladies in the morning.

Party time BEFORE the ceremony.

Ed is a natural born showman. And as such, the dip-kiss was a necessity.

This shot to me is very “Melissa & Ed”.

Wait……..this shot is a bit more “Melissa & Ed”.

And the Post-Ceremony Party time.

So “Melissa” that day. Wedding dress but with a touch of glam and bling.

A private cake cutting before the reception with just the wedding party and family. Cake by Kim Lex.

I love the look on Ed’s face as the best man gives a bit more of a roast than a toast.

Ed’s sisters and mom performed an Irish dance for the reception guests.

Ed serenading his bride. He has a great voice.

39 Mariner setting the tone.

Thanking “the fans” at the end of his 2nd performance of the evening.

Congratulations Melissa & Ed.
