Emily & Jared live in Washington D.C. but they are holding their wedding in Philadelphia at The Physick House this coming October. So, with Emily & Jared in town this past weekend for various wedding planning activities it was a good time to have their engagement photos taken in Philadelphia. We were planning on taking some photos at The Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Waterworks Restaurant. But The forecast had originally called for rain on Sunday so Emily and I had come up with a backup plan in case the weather was less than favorable. We figured that 30th Street Station may be a good indoor location and a nice backdrop for some engagement photos. Well, it didn’t end up raining on Sunday but we still wanted to take a few pictures at 30th Street Station just because it’s pretty cool in any kind of weather! Jared took us upstairs to some of the outdoor platforms and we started a great afternoon together shooting, talking and just getting to know each other a bit. Congratulations to you Emily & Jared. I will be eagerly awaiting your wedding at the Physick House in October!

An ice-cream break in the middle of the shoot. It was hot in there!

Next we were off to shoot some more pictures on the steps of The Art Museum (aka The Rocky Steps).

Jared knows what this is.

This is the very spot where Jared proposed to Emily. It was a fitting location to wrap up our day. Congrats you guys.
