Lyndsay and Mike are getting married next December on the 11th. So, we met up at Peddler’s Village for their engagement photos, this December, on the 11th…..exactly one year to the day before their wedding. I think we are all in agreement that we hope the 11th of December, 2010 will not be nearly as cold as it was this year. Yes, I know it’s winter. And yes, I know that winter is cold. But Damn! It was absolutely frigid last week. Lyndsay, Mike and I had to shoot in bursts to get through the afternoon. As in burst of shots outside followed by ducking into the local shops of Peddler’s Village to warm up and then braving the cold again followed by more “shopping” to warm up. In the end we came away with some great cold weather, Christmassy feeling shots. Lyndsay and Mike, you guys were a lot of fun. Happy Holidays. Stay warm!

This was our first warming up stop. Much thanks to the friendly ladies of The Artisan’s Gallery for allowing us to shoot in their store. And a little Plug for this place…..It’s the perfect shop for gifts. I came back to this store after our shoot and got almost all of Dawn’s Christmas gifts in one stop. Definitely check this place out.

Getting even colder still.

Which then led to another shopping stop in The Nut Kettle. I think Lyndsay was showing Mike some BBQ sauce that he should purchase. Mike apparently is a HUGE fan of all kinds of BBQ sauce.

We affectionately named this location “The Christmas Tunnel”.

And our last indoor stop was the carousel in Giggleberry at Peddler’s Village. This is one the last and one of my favorite shots of the day.
Thanks again Lyndsay & Mike!
