So last Sunday I was itching to do some shooting. Luckily, photographer Jenn Childress called and asked me to come along to photograph her engagement session with Melissa, Carl and their pooch, Willie. I was happy to join them all at Ridley Creek State Park for their engagement photos. We all had fun together walking the grounds, taking photos and jumping electric fences to shoot from vantage points that were technically “off limits”. Thanks to Jenn, Melissa, Carl and even to Willie for having me along. It was a lot of fun. And nobody got electrocuted. So, win-win!

See? This is what I was talking about. Jenn decided that she HAD to jump the fence in order to get some shots in the horse paddock. Luckily Melissa & Carl agreed with her. If you squint, you can see them by the stables in the distance.

Carl followed direction like a seasoned pro. This was his “I’m getting shocked” face. I buy it!

The last image is not related at all. I just like it on a personal level. I saw this on my drive home. It was a line of seniors at the very top of a hill sitting, watching and waiting for something. I soon found out that what they were sitting for was a performance at the Delaware County Summer Festival at the Rose Tree Park Ampitheater. Apparently they have live music there almost every single weeknight of the summer. How cool? So, make that win-win and another win on the night!
